Being aware of your emotions is the first step toward defining your own emotional intelligence. If we are aware of our emotions, we also improve our attitude on daily challenges.


Module 2. Perseverance

Perseverance is one of the “pillar” elements of Daniel Coleman's theory of emotional intelligence. In the Latin language, it means "constancy" and "firmness" in pursuing one's goals.

Module 3. Locus of control

Locus of control is a concept that indicates the extent to which a person perceives the results and consequences of his or her own actions as things within his or her sphere of control.

Module 4. Optimism

Optimism means the ability to maintain positive thinking and hope and at the same time the ability to expect a positive, desired and favorable result even in the most difficult situations.

Support, which stands for help or protection, is the key element and moral foundation used to prevent something from collapsing.

Humour is perhaps an undervalued element whose positive management has high importance in our life.

Module 7. Perspective

Having a broad and flexible perspective is essential when managing our day-to-day circumstances and strengthening our potential for resilience.

Module 8. Initiative / spirituality

The initiative is defined as "the ability to evaluate things independently and take action", while spirituality is the broad concept of belief in something beyond the self.

Module 9. Empathy

Empathy is the understanding of another person’s emotional state; the ability to experience in parallel the emotions that the other feels as if entering the other's subjective world of feelings.

Module 10. Overcoming stress

There are various stress coping strategies. A stress coping strategy is a way of reducing internal anxiety or discomfort that a person has learned and applies depending on certain personality traits.
